Teleseminars are seminars that are attended by using a telephone to call a “telebridge” to listen to speakers talk about and discuss various subjects of interest to the public. Everyone who participate calls the number provided by the presenter and arrives in a “virtual room” with other people attending the program. These presentations often include guest speakers who are included on the topic regarding their area of expertise and are interviewed by the presenter. Often there is a question and answer period following the teleseminar in which the people attending may ask questions or comment. Teleclasses are offered this way as well. A webinar is similar, but utilizes a video component in addition the audio presentation. For any people, teleseminars offer the convenience of not having to travel, or sit in a large room listening, or lodging and food expenses. One can also take notes more easily by using a headset to listen to the presentation.

Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)for health professionals, which are  approved by the CA Board of Behavioral Science are available to satisfy license requirements.
